Baby New Year

Happy 2009!  Is it just me or does 2009 seem incredibly futuristic?

Today on the news everybody was “predicting” (otherwise known as wishing) the economy to turn around and start to thrive this year (right around Jan. 20th, I’m guessing).

I predict complete chaos and/or destruction and/or economic meltdown this year.  You heard it here first!

  1. A very wise person once said—I believe that it was Doris Day,
“Kay-sa-rah, sa-rah, what will be, will be”. (sorry, don’t know the spelling…)

I try to plan my life around this saying…

    Happy New Year!

  2. Sadly to day I agree….

The plows finally made it to our streets two days ago after getting between 16-21 inches of snow on Christmas in our fair city.
There is more to come this next weekend. Our neighborhood streets are still white…icy and slick!
I glad you can enjoy sunshine and warmth!!! You are so wise!

  3. I don’t think the destruction will hit this year. I’m giving it 3 or 4. Or is that just more wishful thinking?

  4. Jenni,
I stopped in a few times. Dont comment much-sorry. The more that I read- the more I realize we are really different (thats not the reason for not commenting, just takes allot for me to be moved to leave a comment) but at the same time you have to realize that I totally get the posts that I read from you. I shouldnt write this but rather tell you becuase not knowing my personality you could interpret it wrong- dont but dont go to my blog to try to figure me out- its all about my kids. By the way, Disney is one of my most favorite places in the world. Not that I have seen too much of the world. BTW, you will never see me at Disney the week of Christmas or after. Jenni life would be way to boring if we were all alike.

  5. I thought by 2000 we would all be getting around in flying cars – Jetson style…

And here we are. No flying cars.

I hope you are wrong on the economic meltdown. Scary times!
